Job Description

• ·        Supervise Ocean Freight Export LCL Customer Services, Documentation, and Operations Teams.

  ·        Manage internal and external departmental issues with clients, carriers, and co-loaders, and resolve problems efficiently.

  ·        Review Bills of Lading (BLs) before issuing original BLs.

  ·        Sign original BLs for Ocean Freight Export LCL shipments.

  ·        Follow up with carriers regarding payments and issues related to the release of Master Bills of Lading (MBLs).

  ·        Coordinate with carriers and agents regarding vessel arrivals and container release statuses.

  ·        Address and resolve customer and agent complaints.

  ·        Oversee ISF and AMS filings for USA and Canada shipments.

  ·        Handle FMC rate filings for USA shipments.

  ·        Obtain FIATA, AVALON, and Bond certificates from relevant associations.

  ·         Ensure the achievement of departmental KPIs.

Skills & Experience

At-least 6 years of relevant experience.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail.
• Strong multitasking ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Exceptional follow-up skills to ensure tasks and projects are completed in a timely manner.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
